Transition Plan

Slide1

Dear Parish Family,

Immediately before ascending into heaven, Our Lord gave one final command to his Church. Jesus commanded his Church to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you…[Matthew 28:19-20].” These marching orders constitute the mission of the Church.  But how do we best accomplish this mission?

Our parish is developing a plan to get organized so that we can fulfill this command of Our Lord. This plan will helps us be more effective, function more smoothly, and put to use the valuable resources of our time, talent, and treasure…..but we need you!

You are vital to the development of this plan and your input is critical.

We need your ideas, your comments, and your perspective to help make this a great plan, and to help put us in a place to best carry out the mission of the Church.  More importantly, we need your help in volunteering for the councils, the many commissions and ministries offered to serve Our Lord, our parish family, and the broader community of Gaston County.

Then, please send your comments to this email address as soon as possible: smccstransitionplan@gmail.com.

May God bless you and our parish family,
