Our second Lenten Holy Happy Hour (HHH) will be this coming Saturday, April 1! It will feature a short talk by Dr. Alessandro Rovati titled “After the Year of Mercy – What’s Next?” Tequila’s will cater our buffet dinner, which is $10 per person (cash or check), and the food is available starting at 6:30pm in St. Michael’s Parish Center dining room. The speaker’s talk begins at 7pm. Bring friends! 🙂
ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: Alessandro earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano, Italy in 2015. During his graduate work, he has studied at Duke Divinity School to combine his extensive philosophical training with theological reflections on the current life of the church amidst contemporary society. Alessandro is now working as an Adjunct Faculty in the departments of Theology and Political Philosophy at Belmont Abbey College. A scholar of Pope Francis, he has written extensively on his pontificate in both popular and scholarly publications and has traveled across several diocese to speak with educators and lay faithful.
