Welcome!  Please join us for RCIA starting on Sunday, September 10, at 8:45am in our Parish Center.   The class is FREE.  Our schedule and online registration form can be found below.  Registration helps us understand where you are in your faith journey so we can better assist and prepare you for your entrance into the Church.

WHAT IS RCIA & WHO IS IT FOR?  The RCIA program (short for “Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is geared towards those who are not Catholic but want to seriously explore the Catholic faith or who seek to become Catholic, and Christians who have been baptized, and are now seeking to come into “full communion” with the Catholic Church.   RCIA is also open to Catholics who would like a great “refresher” about why we believe what we believe, and how we are called to live our faith.

The process of becoming Catholic, or of coming into full communion with the Catholic Church, includes the sacraments of Christian initiation, which are: “Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist”, and these “lay the foundations of every Christian life. The sharing in the divine nature given to men through the grace of Christ bears a certain likeness to the origin, development, and nourishing of natural life. The faithful are born anew by Baptism, strengthened by the sacrament of Confirmation, and receive in the Eucharist the food of eternal life. By means of these sacraments of Christian initiation, they thus receive in increasing measure the treasures of the divine life and advance toward the perfection of charity.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church #1212)
